Lotus

Shoma: I saw the lotus in a dream, and when I woke up I could see it even clearer. This was the first painting that showed our new style (I saw this before the Ganesha), and once I understood the technique, it clicked in a way I’d been waiting for my whole life! While I was painting the lotus, I started seeing memories from a past life, and saw visions like Holi colors, and stained glass in a cathedral. It showed me how interconnected color and joy are and that’s the energy I imbued the painting with!
