Shoma: I’ve always loved peacock feathers because of the magical shifting colors. When I was younger, I had a feather I kept carefully tucked in a book, and it made me very happy! Peacocks show their beauty so gracefully and that made me want to step out of my own shell and show my artistic side off too!
Sunny: When I was a kid, I loved to paint rainbows and draw with bright colors, but after looking at everyone else’s art, I told myself that I wasn’t good at art and bright colors weren’t cool. Working on the peacock with my mom was the first art I’ve created in over a decade and I’m in love with bright colors again. I’m starting to feel like I can make pretty art!
